Something About Me
Hi there!
Most of you who are going to follow this already know me, but for those of you who stumble upon this let me tell you a little about myself!
Let's see... 25, 2013 WVU Davis College Alumni, dog lover, horse enthusiast, and many more things. The goal behind this blog was to give insight into my experience during KEMI in Lexington, KY and to keep my loved ones up to date. It has turned into a bit of a patchy journey through my 20's as my consistency in posting has been limited but I am working on that.
I recently watched a short video of an inspirational speaker who asked the crowd a simple question that many people weren't able to answer. She allowed them time to think about the question as she continued with her talk, but as she was concluding there were several who were still unable to give her an answer. Her question was; "What defines you?" As I sat and thought about this, I too didn't have an answer for her. After my time at WVU, living in Kentucky and all the experiences I had while there, and into my first true career I have finally come to the conclusion that not just one thing can define you. You are your past, present, and future. At the end of the day, you are who you are and the best justice you can do for yourself is to accept that and welcome it. Life is too short to put definitions on ourselves and it wouldn't be fair to ourselves to limit your life with the ideals of others. Set your goal, work for it, be a good person, and love the people around you.
So stay tuned, my friends. Jax and I are on a bumpy ride!
